This one immediately feels different. Grounded. More masculine. A little bit moody but in the best way.

It takes me straight back to the cedarwood coasters we had when I was growing up. They sat in a neat little stack, and I couldn’t stop smelling them. I didn’t know it then, but scent was already starting to anchor memories.

There’s also a hit of smoke and something incense-like that reminds me of the chapel next to my old school. I wasn’t Catholic, but I loved how it smelt; woody, mysterious, sacred somehow. That stuck with me too.

Now, I love this one burning in the sitting room in winter. 

Lights low, fire on, red wine poured. It adds atmosphere without trying too hard.
